Since January 2009, I am managing editor at the
Nieuw Archief voor Wiskunde for
one day a week.
Starting May 2009, I will also work at Movares, as RAMSHE safety analysis consultant, for 3.5 days a week.
Past occupations
At the end of 2008, I had a temp job at the Central Finance department of SKF Netherlands.
From August 2001 until September 2007, I was a lecturer in the group Design and Analysis of Systems (OAS), at
the Eindhoven University of Technology.
During this time, I managed a
Vidi project
for NWO.
Before that, I worked as a PostDoc (1999-2001) in the group
Informatics for Technical Applications
at the RU,
and as a PhD student (1995-1999) in the group Specification and Analysis of
Embedded Systems (SEN2) at the CWI.
I have a PhD in Computer Science from the
University of Twente.

- These are my
husband
Wan Fokkink and

We live in Utrecht.
- For the fifth year running, I'm taking an African dance course, taught by
John Kayongo from Studio LionPaw.
- Some more favourite pastimes: I like to sing, read, skate, dance,
play harp, juggle, draw, sculpt, knit and party!!
